Here comes a new challenger!

Here comes a new challenger! We’re juicing up for glory at EWC with a brand new addition to our Street Fighter roster. Hailing from Sweden, bringing the JJ to the JP, he is the man, the legend, the JUICE: JuicyJoe. Entering the ring in Ninja colors for the first time, Sweden’s most promising Street Fighter talent, Joel “Juicyjoe” Sundell, is ready to take the next step in his fighting game career with NIP.

“One of the best things NIP did in 2024 was to become part of the FGC, one of the most loving and passionate communities we've been part of in our 25 year long legacy of being ninjas. Today we further solidify our role in the FGC, by the help and support of our wonderful players Phenom and Veggey, we've managed to sign the up and coming Swedish star in Street Fighter 6, JuicyJoe! With this signing we now have a beautiful mix of Norwegians and a Swede, fighting side by side to rule the north, and to battle for the biggest trophies in SF6.”
— Erik Wendel, Director of Esports.

After a blistering run at Capcom Cup 11 that saw Juicyjoe finish first in a legendary group also featuring generational talents like Xiaohai and Kilzyou, and eliminate AngryBird before crashing out in the semi-finals, Juicyjoe has firmly established himself as one of the FGC’s most promising prospects and one of the hottest fighters to be entering the ring at EWC. That searing run is also where Juicyjoe claimed qualification for EWC, immediately earning him a spot alongside fellow Ninjas Phenom and Veggey on the year’s biggest stage.

This year’s Street Fighter EWC event promises to be an absolutely electric tournament, bringing together anyone who’s anyone in the fighting game community. Represented by Phenom, Veggey and Juicyjoe, NIP will be a team to watch at EWC and beyond.
