NIP at EWC
The Esports World Cup is a new format for us: it doesn't just reward individual roster performance, but the performance of the whole organization across all our teams. Teams are competing for a pool of points that will be tallied up by the end of the tournament to crown the real World Champion of esports. Each week will see a new set of tourneys in different esports titles. If you're an old-school NIP CS fan, this is your chance to broaden your horizons to new games.
Out of ten eligible rosters, we have managed to qualify with four thus far: NIP Flash in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang; NIP.Bilal in Tekken 8; NIP.Phenom in Street Fighter 6; and our spicy Apex Legends roster. Two more chances remain: NIP.K-Wiss has one more shot in Tekken 8, and NIP legend Ollelito has a shot in the last EA FC 24 qualifier. The World Cup is running alongside these qualifiers, and it can be hard to keep track.
