We’re excited to officially let you know that NIP has entered the world of Fortnite. Our first player on the Battle Bus is Oscar "Refsgaard" Dalgas Refsgaard from Denmark.
“No doubt that Fortnite is a wildly popular game overall, and it’s been on our radar for a long time. Cautious about adding too many titles, we want to sustain all of them properly with the needed infrastructure. Rocket League, a big step for us, is a foothold into a generally younger demographic and future NIP fans,” says Jonas Gundersen, COO of NIP.
“Now we are adding Fortnite to that mix. Utilizing those synergies coming from EPIC as a publisher in both games and tying in Fortnite Creative is a natural next step. Refsgaard is an incredibly talented player who we believe can be one of the biggest stars – a fantastic fit for us.” concludes Gundersen.
Refsgaard’s first official gameplay under NIP is the FNCS Major 2 Weekly Competition, which is kicking off April 13, 2023.
Born in 2000 with Counter-Strike in our blood, today we are one of the largest and most legendary esports teams in the world. We earned our stripes by competing at the very top level across almost a dozen game titles and we never lose — we only win or learn. And we’re never, ever, happy with anything less than being the best at any game we compete in.
