New Season, new goals - Ninjas in Pyjamas

Available in Russian and Chinese

One year ago, our organization re-entered DotA 2 with three goals; win a trophy, qualify for The International, and establish ourselves as a team to be reckoned with in the Dota 2 scene. Looking back, all of these goals were achieved and with that accomplishment in mind we have set the goals even higher for the coming year.

To reach them we cannot be afraid of change. As of today, we are proud to be announcing that Peter “ppd” Dager will be staying on as our team captain while inviting his former teammate Saahil "Universe" Arora along with three rising stars to join our ranks.

We would like to extend our gratitude towards our former players Saksa, 33, Fata, and Ace. It has been a pleasure watching you perform under the NiP banner and we wish you luck in your future careers as Dota 2 professionals.

As former teammates, ppd and Universe come in as the veterans in an otherwise unproven but extremely promising new line-up. The two share a track record having won The International 5 together and are now looking to combine their strengths once more and mold a team that can win championships.

“I’m very excited to play with my former captain Peter again. I can't wait to see what we achieve in this upcoming season.” - Saahil "Universe" Arora

Even though the past year is considered a success, having reached our goals while cementing Dota 2 as a core title at Ninjas in Pyjamas, the team captain ppd isn’t satisfied just yet.

“Last year didn't end as I hoped so we've decided to switch things up. I'm teaming up with my old-teammate Universe and a few up-and-coming talents to hopefully achieve greatness.” - Peter "ppd" Dager

Our debut team Bootcamp begins September 27th in our hometown of Stockholm, Sweden. Make sure to follow our Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Weibo and VK for event updates, behind-the-scenes, salty memes and much more.
