Paladins has experienced amazing growth since its open beta launch in the second half of 2016. Today, the game is amongst the most played titles on the Steam platform with over 15 million players. To further expand and grow Ninjas in Pyjamas, we are always on the outlook for new game titles to develop further as an organization and to maintain our position as one of the world’s leading esport organizations.
Part of our quest is to identify up-and-coming game titles which has the potential to become an esports over time. In this case we believe Paladins has that potential through it’s growing player base and community orientation driven by its developer, Hi-Rez Studios.
Today, we are thrilled to announce yet another title and team to join the Ninjas in Pyjamas family to compete on the global stage. As we enter The Paladins Premier League with our fellow member teams in WESA, we are happy to come in strong with what is currently the best Paladins team in Europe, if not the world. The new additions to the Ninjas in Pyjamas family are Erik “Bird” Sjösten, Malkolm “bonkar” Rench, Kevin “Laizy” Jensen, Pietro “PERDO” Eronen and Pasi “Shipa” Piiparinen, all formerly of Gankstars. Please give them a warm welcome as they prepare for the first split of the Paladins Premier League!
