Earlier this year we entered DotA2 with an iconic squad of players as we welcomed syndereN, Era, qojqva, H4nn1 and Trixi to Ninjas in Pyjamas. The long-term quest is to build a competitive squad to compete at the highest level and to re-establish the NiP legacy in DotA2. The core players of the lineup we brought on board were syndereN, Era and qojqva who played together in Escape Gaming prior to joining Ninjas in Pyjamas. As the lineup saw the new additions of H4nn1 and Trixi, the dynamics of the team changed which lead us to this roster adjustment.
Troels “syndereN” Lyngholt will be leaving the roster of Ninjas in Pyjamas. The team has decided to give the opportunity to the up-and-coming player Aydin “iNsania” Sarkohi as we seek younger talent to grow within the team. We thank Troels for the hard work and efforts through the process of bringing Ninjas in Pyjamas back to DotA2, and hope our roads will cross again in the future.
Sarkohi commented the following:
“When Adrian (“Era”) asked me to try out for NiP, I was immediately excited as the players on this roster are well known and extremely talented. After playing a few games with them I felt that in this organization I could evolve over time. As a Swede, representing Ninjas in Pyjamas is a dream come true. I am really looking forward to playing more, optimizing our team to reach its full potential and competing at the largest and most prestigious events later this year”.
Hicham Chahine, CEO of NiP had this to say on the matter:
“We are working hard to improve the competitive level across all the Ninjas in Pyjamas titles, which makes it very exciting when welcoming younger players to our organization. I am looking forward to see Aydin compete under the NiP banner and create many good memories – and winning moments – with him in the future.”
Please give Aydin “iNsania” Sarkohi a warm welcome to The Ninjas in Pyjamas Family! #GONINJAS
